Password Protected Directories
(PPD)
- NID Only Access (for Non-NCVA Members):

Non-members of the NCVA who are eligible to become
members and who have reported their name, email
address, and eligibility criteria to the Listmaster:
- Obtain the user name and password from the
Listmaster (Bill Hickey) .
- If you've forgotten the user name or
password, contact the Listmaster .
- You CAN NOT access
the NCVA PPD it is restricted to NCVA Members!

Must be current members of the NCVA.
- Request NCVA Member PPD Access Account from the
Webmaster (Rob Rude) .
Your request must include the following
information:
- Your full name as it appears on your
CRYPTOLOG mailing label
- Your desired user name (no spaces,
no HTML coding, and no Hidden Characters
allowed). It must be at least 4
characters and must not be more than 10
characters in length. The default is the first
6 letters of your last name and the first
letter of your first name. FRUPAC members may
use their call sign. In case of a duplicate
user name the Webmaster may append a numeral to
distinguish between users.
- Your desired password (at least 6-characters
in length but not more than 10-characters, no spaces
allowed, and must start with at least one non-numerical
character). It should NOT be a common word. It
should contain both uppercase and lowercase letters or a
mix of letters and numbers. Avoid well known
combinations or case patterns.
WARNING: DO NOT
send your user name and password for your
Internet Service or E-Mail account! The
user name may be the same as one of your
other accounts but, the password for access
to PPD files must be different.
- When your account is ready for use the
Webmaster will send you a reply informing you
that your account was activated.
- If you've forgotten your user name or
password, contact the Webmaster .
- You can access the NID PPD and the NCVA
PPD with your user name and
password.
- User names and passwords requested through
0915 MT on 21-Nov-2008
are now active.

is provided for their personal use and should not be

Contains downloadable files intended for distribution
only to members of the association. Access is
retricted to members of the NCVA who have obtained a
user name and password from the Webmaster.
Typical contents include:
- CRYPTOLOG (Electronic Edition)
- Annual Membership Directory
- Special Edition Membership Directory
- Special Edition FRUPAC Directory
- other Documents of Interest
